In this comment filed with the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Office of Intergovernmental and External Affairs, CSPI made recommendations that can help the agency advance racial equity in its programs. CSPI's comment includes sections on the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), the Dietary Guidelines for Americans, the national school meal and other food programs, occupational safety for workers in meat and poultry facilities, and justice for Black farmers.
