Debra Brink

Graphic Designer and Production Manager

Debra designs and manages the printing and mailing of CSPI's marketing and small dollar donor program. She also designs the outer wraps that go around Nutrition Action and assists staff with other design projects.

Jessi Silverman

Campaign Manager

Jessi (she/her) is a Campaign Manager for institutional food purchasing and service at CSPI. In this role, she leads advocacy campaigns at the federal, state, and local level to ensure that public institutions like prisons, hospitals, and other government facilities serve nutritious food that is sourced sustainably and equitably. She also oversees CSPI's advocacy to strengthen the Dietary Guidelines for Americans, the federal government's nutrition advice that is updated every five years.

Alla Hill

Senior Science Policy Associate

Alla Hill (she/her) is a Science Policy Associate within the Science Department. In this role, she works closely with program teams to review and develop evidence-based materials and messages to inform strategy across five primary areas: Healthy Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Health Disclosures, Healthy Retail, Restaurant Kids Meals, and School Foods.

Deputy Director

Sara John (she/her/hers) leads CSPI’s federal policy and private sector efforts to create a healthier, more equitable food retail environment.

Meghan Maroney

Campaign Manager, Federal Child Nutrition Programs

Meghan Maroney (she/her/hers) leads CSPI’s Federal Child Nutrition Programs initiatives. She advocates for science-based policies to ensure every child has access to nutritious, delicious foods that support their health.

Cassie Harrison-Ramos

Policy Associate

Cassie Harrison-Ramos (she/her/hers) work focuses on SNAP policy and healthy food access for families with low incomes. She works with partners and community-based groups to engage with SNAP participants about strategies for maximizing nutrition security.

Garrett Darrah

Grants Associate

A member of the Development Team, Garrett Darrah (he/him/his) supports CSPI's grantmaking program, serving as a resource for grantee partner organizations as well as internal staff.

Jake Multer

Senior Policy Associate

Jacob Multer (he/him/his) is a Federal Affairs Policy Associate working on nutrition policy and advocacy at CSPI. He collaborates with the Hill, federal advocates, coalition partners, and state and local partners to advance equitable nutrition policy.
